Hi, Back-up the critical data files on the system! You did not give any feed back from event viewer? If this server was part of another domain you should check your tcp/ip settings. You might want to disable non critical services to rule out conflicts. JETE

Thank you for responding to my cry for help. I have rebuilt this server last month and it was not to easy. I replaced the existing drive cage with the drive cage that the system origianally came with and then installed the 5 36.4gb drives. The difficult part was with restoring data.
