Is it possible to programmatically open a series of word files, search through each one for a graphic link and then change that link so that it points to a new location. can I set the recently used files list to 'none'
I have found that double clicking a file to open it in Acrobat 5 is very slow. It seems to be that it checks all the files in the recently used list; if one of those files no longer exists, it slows down the opening considerably - sometimes not even opening the file I want at all.
