Have a 1002rp running Rel 4 and have ordered a new 1006R server with Rel 5. Question is: do I need to upgrade the 1002rp to Rel 5, then migrate to the 1006r -- or can I backup the 1002rp while it's on Rel 4 and take those backup files and restore them to the 1006r running Rel 5?
I can't seem...
Teekow --
Turned out that I needed to enable the node to use both h.323 and SIP, even though we are only using SIP trunking. Once I did this and synchronized, it worked properly. Thanks for your help.
Teekow -- thanks for the reply. The MOTN/BUID has been entered, and the NRS address, NCS checkbox, and NRS routting entries have also been configured. You bring up an interesting point about perhaps having to enable GK functionality, even though it's pure SIP. I may have to give that a try...
I've spent WAY too much time on this issue, but I can't get my SRG's 1140e sets to work in normal mode -- they only come up in local mode. The SRG is 3.0 and the CS1000 is 6.0, and they're connected via working SIP trunks -- the 1140e sets (in local mode) can dial the SIP trunk access code and...
We recently upgraded to CS1000M running release 6 with two UCM security servers. After running thru all of the various procedures, everything registered up and joined the security domain just fine. However, anytime that I log into the switch via TTY or SSH with a UCM account, I get the...
I'm not sure if this is your problem, but make sure that you're using the /admin in the URL of the server. The URL that you should be using should be:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/admin
If you omit the /admin, you will be directed to the end user login page, which will not accept the server's...
Bukoljoe is on the right track. Go to Services, then open the properties of the Sybase Backup Service. Open the LOG ON tab and change the account information to reflect the username of NgenSys and the password for that account.
Fuzzy Cub -- a couple of messages back, you asked if there was another way of using the station admininistration (besides the web client). Sorry, that's been taken away, beginning with TM 3.0. The only way to perform station admin is via the overlays (manually), or via the web client interface...
You will only see these log entries when an actual call is dropping packets. The systems uses missing sequence numbers to calculate the percentage of loss.
I'm not absolutely sure about the current release, but on the release that was being shipped a couple of years ago, you could not terminate both user tunnels and branch office tunnels. It was one or the other, end of story.
Afraid that I'm out of ideas. It may be time to call your vendor or open a case with Nortel if you are the vendor. Other that patching to the latest PEP, I'm not going to be of any help here.
I'll pass -- not that big of a deal. I've used that Linkedin website in the past and it doesn't allow you to contact someone unless you upgrade your account for a fee. Thanks anyways.
The option that you're using should work. Essentially, the Billing Sync routine takes CND data and refreshes the TBS employee database with any changes that the CND database contains. The "Update Matching and Non-Matching" option is one that I commonly see.
At this point, the question that...
