The scene,
a user as taken his machine of our local domain and put himself back into a workgroup (messing around),my problem being i've tried putting him back on to our domain but administive rights are required but the machine is a fairly old IBM machine which nobody knows the admin password...
Yes were still going to be using outlook,
further investigation belives me into thinking that i export there profile as a csv and then import it back to there imail account once setup,here goes i'll give it a go.
We operate a Standard Imail Server as well as a Exchange 200 server.
My problem being that "from powers above" i've been told to migrate all users from exchange back to standard imail form,my problem being as i've been doing some testing i'd like to know the correct way you would...
Can i set-up an login password for outlook using exchange/outlook.
Scenario, MD at work wants to give access to his workforce to his computer (as he's going on holiday) but doesn't want them to open his outlook and start reading his mail.
Thanx for that mate but thats what i tried,
the user i want to forward the mail too from exchange is obviously already created i've created a test user for the purpose but as you can not duplicate user logon's this isn't possible.
Can this be done???,
We have a Exchange 200 server running but only certain people such as IT Dept./managers and directors only use exchange everyone else just uses standard imail server using various clients.
My problem being my manager uses Linux more than windows using his imail e-mail...
