Yeah I saved myself time and a headache by uninstalling and reinstalling, but I still had the same issue. So I created a new .wgx profile and tried that one. This time it worked so Im chalking it up to a corrupted .wgx file. Thanks for your time.

As for firewall restrictions no. They dont have the firewall turned on locally and everyone has the same setting when it comes to the network firewall.

Are they essentially the same thing? Do they or can they backup the same thing in terms of SharePoint? It looks as though NTBackup can only be used to backup the DB and STSADMIN is used to backup EVERYTHING related to a SharePoint site including the DB. Is this true?
