when i insert the date into an Access DB from an ASP form it formats as a medium date(3-Oct-01) but the recordset returns 10/3/01.
why is this and is there a way to return the exact value from the db.

my problem turned out to be some issues with Pre-Windows 2000 accounts on the domain. i edited the Security Policy accordingly and it's now it's smooth sailing.

i am having the same problem with the same setup. i can ping the external nic but when i try a tracert it times out at the server? what am i overlooking???
