The problem I was having had to do with the laptop I was trying to use to VPN into my trusted network. I hade the laptop and the network it was on set up the same as my trusted network, even though I was using a different ISP.

I was having trouble getting anywhere in the trusted network, but it turns out there were some network settings on the remote laptop that were causing issues... -John

Man, the correct terms are a much when searching on cisco's site...I searched countless times and not found anything. However, if I am reading the directions correctly one needs to add a second extension for the same user and then transfer to the second extension to bypass the phone itsself...

I'm on CME 3.2 and I'm looking for a way to transfer a call to voice mail, bypassing the phone ringing. I did a search and saw that some were using CM and were able to do a *XXX transfer to voice mail. That options doesn't work with CME 3.2 that I see, is there something else that anyone knows...
