I am using Windows ME. The drive is a Western 60g, to replace a 20g. I used Lifeguard and it said the drive was fine. No speed disk and defrag will not work also. I copied the drive with Lifeguard.
I replaced an old hard drive, I copied the old drive to the new one. It works great except when I try to run Norton Disk Doctor. I get an error, Drive C: may not be configured correctly. If I try to run Scandisk the computer locks up.
Scandisk will run if I do an improper shutdown. Any ideas? I...
