Does anyone know how I can do this, a number of the messages I get are junk. I am using popfile to filter them out and would ideally like to set up a rule which doesn't alert me to messages moved to the deleted items. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks in anticipation.
Jason.
I have a machine running windows XP which displays the date in american format and the standard currency symbol as $. I have changed the regional option locale to united kingdom, but still the date is displayed in american format MM/DD/YY and not DD/MM/YY. Can anyone shed any light on this as...
I have already checked. I could understand it if that was the case but everything is set correctly. Even the short date sample in regional settings is displayed correctly. Can't think what could be causing it.
In a shared Access database I have a form with a date field. When data is entered from an Win2K machine it works fine. When it is enterered from an XP machine it reformats the date to american style MM/DD/YYYY. Rather than DD/MM/YYYY. The locale on the XP machine is set to English, short...
I am trying to share an access 2000 DB from a windows 2000 PC, with a Windows XP PC. I keep getting asked to supply a password from the XP machine, and when I do so I can see the shared folder, however I cannot access the Database it just keeps saying "It is already opened exclusively by...
I have recently noticed on some sites from favourites or just clicking a link brings up the wrong page completely. I could be on yahoo mail, click a link to read a message and then a page will appear with the google error page or google search page. Any ideas?
I have a shared database with tabbed pages, one of the pages contains a subform which for some reason locks the whole database when clicked on. Any ideas?
P.S. It has only happened since upgrading a machine from win98 to Win2K.
http://www.holidayextras.co.uk is one of the pages.
It seems to have some sort of applet that is causing the crash, although it's not the only website it does it on.
Thanks in advance.
Jason
When visting certain sites IE6 starts to load the page and then crashes, producing the error report dialog box. This only happens on certain pages and it doesn't make sense.
We have an access database which we are sharing peer to peer, it used to work fine on win98 but now will not allow more than one user at a time. What could be wrong?
Thanks, Jason.
When in Access a colleague of mine says that his screen shakes as though something is interfering with it like a mobile phone. But it only happens in Access. Any Ideas?
