YOU MAY WANT TO PUT THE GBIC IN A SOFTWARE LOOPBACK. ALSO, FAST START DOES SOME STRANGE THINGS. YOU MAY WANT TO DISABLE FAST START IF ITS ENABLED. MAKE SURE YOU FIBER IS CLEAN. TRY MOVING THE GBIC INTO A DIFFERENT PORT ON THE BASEBOARD. GOOD LUCK!! CHEERS- JAYLENOX
