u could try dd command too. dump the s2 partition of one disk to another, then try the installboot on the new disk.- javirodz

Sparc20 w/s desktop dies, apps dont respond
When the login takes long try to add all ip addresses to the "/etc/hosts" file, if the problem is due to name resolving, this should help. On your other problem, verify your patch level.- javirodz
