Has anyone ever hooked a cta 100 up to a Norstar to use with a product called CallParrot from Telstrat that has been used to record voice calls? I am having a hard time finding any information on how to make this work.

The documentation for those gateways are terrible. They are actually made by a company called MediaTrix. You might be able to call them and get them to help you. They call it something like model 1100. They make it and Nortel slaps their name on it. Good luck.

I have a CICS with CP 100. One option on the CCR tree is an external transfer. When the call goes out the volume is so low that you cant hear the caller. It is not the line card because if you make a call from that line to outside, even to the same number as the external transfer the volume...

Aastra makes an analog phone that talks to you and tells you the caller id info. They work great but the only problem you have is that Norstar analog devices do not support caller id. I am not sure of the model but I know they make them. Good luck

I have the same issue of trying to log into a NAM. I tried the nvmppp2.inf file but had no luck connecting. How exactly do I use the connection after I set it up? Do you login with or without the Voice Mail Manager software? Need some direction.
