Illustrator 10, Windows.
I cannot understand why when I place a file into Illustator (anything...tif, PSD, JPEG) the Edit Original function is not available (I get the 'NO' symbol when I hover over it). But if a place the same files into InDesign I can use Edit Original from that program...

I've checked through all the Preferences boxes and cannot find anything about Hotkeys. I'm using InDesign 2.0.2. Am I missing something? I assume its like creating an Action in Photoshop right?
