Just installed Office 2003 SP3 but luckily only on one of our computers- mine! Have both the Currency format problem and the Yes/No plus have read on other groups that some have fields that don't show in list boxes. Looks as if I am going to unstall Office 2003 and then reinstall but not SP3...

Jf Think mine doesn't work as cells I am entering are based upon formulas and the answers all have about 15 digits in the decimals. Was your experience with that are just numbers you entered?

Doesn't work quite right for all. Some it does fine while others still come out with long decimal numbers. In relooking at mail merge info it might be that I need to add a switch in the mail merge. If that is the case I am not exactly certain as where to place the switch. Thanks for your help.

Setting up a mail merge document based upon an Excel worksheet that has some cells which are computations which are set up in the cells to be a 2 digit number. When appear in the Mail Merge they don't stay as a 2 digit number. Any suggestions on how to get the mail merge # to appear as 2 digit?

I would do the registry change and then after it works you could try edited locks or whatever works best for you. Ours are no locks and we have not had a problem since the registry change. I don't know about the user accounts And hope this works for you.

What I was trying to say is that you will get people really locking each other all the time when using computers with 2000 on them unless you do the registry changes mentioned above. We were running 98 and 2000 machines and had it and then with all 2000 machines it got worse. MIcrosoft...

Once you get this working make sure you check out this thread for your 2000 machine as it will lock up with the others on data entry. Read the Aug 31 info thread181-504923
