    Hello forum, we have an L80 library used for backup; only one drive at a time is used; when it finishes it uses the other drive, i want to use all 6 drives together. it was working fine; but after we changed a drive on the library and another one had a bad cable we faced this problem.     Leds are green, what do you mean by varied off/on these drives? We checked the SCSI ids, it's allocated using the Library, it is a StorageTek L80.

    I will try that, All my configuration was working, I had two drives with errors, so I changed those and after changing, the drives are not seen anymore, so all my config was working before. Now all the backup and everything is working but on 4 drives instead of 6. I am doubting that someone...

Since each two drives will have it's own SCSI domain if i might say so i should be sure that none of these have same SCSI ids, or better i will be sure that no drive has the same...

    Hello, the drives are not seen from Windows, this is why i am checking also the L80 library. Thank you for now, i will make sure we see it from windows before proceding with Legato troubleshooting.

    Thank you for the valuable information. however the server has only 2 connections and i want to connect 6 drives. How should i do that? should i SCSI chain the 5th and 6th drive with the 3rd and 4th? Thank you for the valuable reply.
