I have a similar problem. I have to choose restore and run thru all the 'media created..' options to do a restore. But how do I check to see what is on the tape. Cos I have some old tapes which are not labelled and I cant find them in the catalog.

sandsrfr, your comment seems to be a solution. I just created a new edb file and mounted the mailstore. But a few mails later novarg pops up and the log file gets deleted again. Back to square one. I could not find the option to exclude the 'edb.log' file. I use NAV corporate edition. Both...

Im working on exchange 2000 right now. I have exactly the same problem (if not more). I did exactly what trent and nonprofittheatre suggested. (except that i created a new mail store and then replaced my working edb files in them) It worked fine for about 30 min..... then all hell broke loose...
