    1841 Corrupt Flash Card.... beyond repair?

    I don't think it's appropriate to format the Flash Card on a PC because the binary it writes will not be readable in the 1800 series routers. The same applies when I format a flash card in the 6500 chassis, and put it in C7200-2FE+E, it will not work because it write different binary contents...

    Amber Red, or just orange is indicated a faulty NIC. Make sure that the NIC in your network folder is enabled. Check your TCP/IP addresses, etc...take your time to troubleshoot...if all else fails you'll know that the NIC is faulty. Also check your Cat5e cables too.....

    You could always make a bootable CD and run it from DOS, that's a no brainer. so hence the ISO isn't necessary, but useful. IMO there are many ways to get through it without a FDD drive. Trust me...I know it because I've done it. It's always great to have a bunch of geeks sharing info to help...
