Not all of my VPN users have this problem that are on XP SP2.
I've started seeing a problem ever since installing SP2 for XP users.
Prior to XP SP2, VPN users could launch Outlook 2003 and connect to Exchange 2003 without any problems.
Now, that I've installed SP2 - some (not all) of those same users now cannot connect to Exchange via Outlook - it tries...

The IMC runs 24x7x365 ... we only have 45 users in exchange.
It's really a problem .. I know we don't generate 1000 msgs a week, let alone every hour.

Here's where I stand at as of tonight. I've got Exchange 5.5 SP4 for a front end and a back end. I have my SMTP Connector on a seperate NT4 Svr.
Whenever I enable the SMTP connector, the Queue fills with 1000's of email. Now with that said, I've run the Perfmon on the backend Exchange server...
I'm having the same problem. I've created and removed the trust 4 or 5 times knowing that the passwords were correct. And I'm still getting access denied when trying to run the ADMT tool.
I've changed the Admin password to be the same on both domains.

There are no errors logged and the jobs don't fail .. that's the thing ... it just runs and runs and runs and nothing gets backed up. I have to manually kill the backup job. Everything is done from the same server.

I'm stumped. I'm using Backup Exec 8.6 running on a W2K Quantam Lanvault. I have 4 seperate backup jobs that run on a schedule. DIFF, FULL, MONTHEND, SQL.
Out of these 4 SQL is the only one that runs whether I manually run the job or during it's normal schedule. The other 3 no longer run...

Another issue that's come to light is - I have a developer that setup a pc and is trying to setup Outlook 2000 but Exchange cannot be found on the domain. He can ping it by name and IP but cannot configure outlook.
