My company redirects all domain users' "My Documents" folders from the default location on the local drive to a Network Share. This network share is personal to each user, so my directory is only accessable by myself and administrators, and is subject to a space limit. Since it is the...
We had almost a gig of free space on the syslog server (on an 8 gig partition). I don't think that was the issue. I'll let you know if I see any symptoms return now that we have a new stick of PC100 memory in the firebox.
Thanks for the clarification on re-loading an image. I've done that...
Thanks for the help 'ashleym' and 'NtrOP'. The issue was "fixed" for a couple of weeks after I shut of the syslog feature and we put the memory into slot 2 of the Firebox. After a 2 week hiatus the problem has come back. To me this sounds like some bad memory, but another person said...
I believe we're running version 4.61.
Do you know what kind of RAM is in the Firebox II? Since we don't have a support contract, I can't get ANY information out of the folks at Watchguard.
Thanks for your help!
We have been using a Firebox II as our firewall/VPN/gateway for a couple of years without issue, and beginning a few days ago (1/1/03) the Firebox began going down. The lights on the front remain on, but the system no longer says that it's "armed", you cannot connect to the Internet...
We are using CIM 7 to monitor the basic server functions on our 40+ Proliant servers. We currently have disk thresholding setup, and I have been asked to add disk, RAM, nic, power, controllers, temp, fans, and RILO boards. Can anyone offer steps to accomplish this? I'm new to CIM, and cannot...
I'm looking for some help with a question about Exchange deletion. We have Exchange 5.5 sp4, and I have the retention time for deleted email set to zero, and IS maintainance run nightly. We don't use circular logging. A user deleted an email about two weeks ago, and there is no good backup for...
We have an NT6, sp6a box with Exchange 5.5, sp4 on it. Several times during a regular work day, I will have to stop the inetinfo.exe process and restart the web server via the Management Console. If I let the inetinfo.exe process eat up all the memory and processor, eventually it will stop...
Thanks for all of your replies, this is exactly the direction I am looking for.
Jeremy, this may be a dumb question, but what is a forest??? Is that an AD thing?
I'm going to do a fresh install of Exchange 2000 and Windows 2000 Server. I've never installed either, but have done fresh installs of Win NT 4 and Exchange 5.5. I'm wondering if there are any hints or tips to help me avoid making mistakes while building this box.
Thanks,
Irestone
