you can also interchange from shell by simply typing in the shell you want e.g box# csh to give you a csh shell IP

well let me break it down for you in a couple of line's the binaries in /bin and /usr/bin can be executed by a normal user with no root privileges and all the binaries in /sbin are the very vital ones :) which require root privileges to be executed and thats about it in a nutshell
