I would have NEVER thought of that. I figured I would get an 'out of paper' error and that the printer would 'wait' for paper. I'm going to try your 2¢ trick. Thanks so much.

I try to print a greeting card. The sftwr does not provide duplex printing so I chose manual feed (tray 1). I inserted the card stock into tray 1 and printed front side. When sftwr requests to reinsert paper and print back side I do so but plain paper feeds from tray 2 and tray 1 in that order...

Can I put 256Mb memory in the 2605dn? Does the 2605dn use pictbridge? I have a pgm that requires pictbridge enabled. Can't find it on the hp2605dn.
