I have a report formatted as a letter which imports the name and address of the receiver from the database. When there is not a line imported it leaves the line blank in the report which obviously leaves a gap in the address it is going to.

You are right. The tables without the relationships are the ones that delete ok. Its the ones that have the relationships that do not. Will I have to give up on this?

Yes it is possible but they all show in the form when running through the records so why are they not being referenced in the report? surely some would still appear (the ones without the spaces)?
Or am I misunderstanding what you are saying?
