At this time, there are no compatible toner cartridges for the Phaser 6250. For the 6200, we (and other sources) supply a compatible cartridge essentially identical to the Xerox cartridge (that is, the plastic case and toner powder are the same as used by Xerox.
I have full page PDF files for each color (CMYK) posted at our website and available for downloading and printing. Please see http://www.inktechnologies.com/tech_support.html
If the actual inkstick is not melting it may be that the heater in the ink loader tray - not the printhead - is bad. If the inkstick is being melted then dripping into the printhead reservoir, but the ink in the reservoir is not melting, then replacing the printhead should correct this (this...
Have you turned the printer off overnight and run another cleaning the next day? This sometimes helps. If you have done this, you may need to contact Xerox as they warrant their ink in the event you cannot recover clogged inkjets.
Have you tried the "cover stock treatment"? First open the top door of the printer, flip up the green or blue plastic piece and remove the quick release guide (piece with two tabs and clear plastic strip). Then open front door of printer and slide a piece of cover stock (thick paper)...
No, it is not 'gutted' but just tested to make sure it works properly. Any broken parts would be replaced. If you'd like to receive samples printed on the Phaser 850, let me know.

John:
The manual refers to this as "most likely cause is a failed drum heater". Have you tried just turning the printer off, removing the power cord from the rear of the printer, waiting several minutes, then restarting? Sometimes this will reset the printer (unless of course the drum...
This is called "cooking" of the melted ink and occurs with both Xerox ColorStix and generic inks, especially with the cyan ink and the yellow ink. This occurs when the ink is in a melted condition for approx. 10 days or more without being used - the ink is held at a high temperature...
From SM: "the left jet stack heater is not heating at all, or is heating too slowly. Check that the printhead to drum gap is not too close [Note: this should not apply to the 850 as it is preadjusted -Steve]. Inspect printer wiring. Replace the printhead"
Error code refers to"unexpected standard tray pick flag event". Paper found in the front door and lower tray at same time, possibly due to pick roller clutch slipping.
