I am trying to "migrate" public folders from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 and am getting the following error:
"The Microsoft Exchange Public Folder Migration Tool only works with Exchange 5.5 SP3 or any release since and including Exchange 2000. Server 'name' is reported as 'Version 5.5...

I have recently noticed a mysterious looking folder in the Documents and Settings folder on users hard drives. At a DOS prompt it is listed as c:\documents and settings\??? and can't be deleted. It can be deleted from Windows Explorer but reappears on next reboot. Does anyone have any idea...

You have two choices - massive email clean up OR upgrade your hard disk to allow the extra space for the 16GB Information Store. Not alot of fun, but relieves the pressure more quickly than trying to get users to clean up! "The worst dilemmas are often the best opportunities in...

Does anyone know of a way to check BIOS without restarting a Windows 2000 computer? Net Mgr wants to make sure auto restart on power up is set before running UPS testing. There doesn't appear to be a "native" way of doing it, but maybe a third party utility? "The worst dilemmas...
Just a thought on email retention - does your company have a data retention policy? If not, is management aware of the potential "cost" of allowing those employees to keep all emails? Show them an article on the discovery process when being sued....that might shake them back into...
Is eseutil the only way to recover space? We have done a bunch of mail clean up and need to recover the space - but, of course, don't want to jeopardize the integrity of the database(s). I have found lots of info on running eseutil, but nothing that says "beware" which is what I'm...
