I understand that it is an actual email adr. in GAL. You have to make sure at that database program when it is trying to send the mail It must be authenticated by server. Because of Smtp rules. and also go to Exchange server where you go routing restrictions and select "Hosts and clients...- Ikohen

I had the same problem of using internet mail settings did not work after stopping the relay. All you have to do if it is using any type of email client like Outlook Express or whichever go to that account properties and go to server page and check my outgoing mail server requires...- Ikohen
