Hi,
I'm just trying to make sure no one alters the information in my database when using it. I have a popup form, and that's all that I want the user to see and use. I want the main menu area (that includes the tables, queries, forms, reports, macros and module tabs) to be hidden. I also have a...
Hi
I have a couple of questions that sum up to one problem...
I have a form and a table. The form has 10 fields on it, I've been trying to get it to, once the first field is filled in, auto-fill in the other 9 based on the corresponding field data for the record (assuming that the first field...
Hi,
I have one main table with 150 entries. I have another table with 6 entries. This second table is just one field of OLE objects (metafile images).
Each entry in my main table is associated with 1 of 6 images (the OLE images stored in the second table). I want to have a field in my main...
I figured out a way to save an Access report as a .pdf file
Here's how:
Get the Adobe Acrobat Distiller (might be able to get it free off their site)
This will allow you to print to a "printer" called Distiller Assistant (it's more like "scanned" to it). In order to do...
Hello forum,
I have a report that has a page for each of 150 cables. On each page, there's a detail, subreported section and a picture. The pictures path on the harddrive is dependent on a field gathered from the main report's source query.
Now, before I added the picture updating capabilities...
Geno,
Thanks for the expedient delivery!
I looked at the snaking columns section of Access Help. It pretty much led me to the section on making extra columns and changing column size. I had played around with that before, to no avail, but I figured I'd try again. What caught my eye was the...
Hi,
I just want to have a report display 10 rows per column in a report, and then have any left over records be tossed to an adjacent column.
For example:
If I had only 6 records in a source, my report would look like this
Column 1
A
B
C
D
E
F
But if i had 26 records in a source, my report...
Hey Lozere,
sorry about that. thanks again for your reply. it's the same issue, just explained more clearly. I probably shouldn't have made a new thread.
Anyway, I tried that before. Now, I'm generally new at this, especially when it comes to coding and the Event tab. I opened the properties of...
Hi everyone,
I'm a standstill on this database at work. I can't go any further until I find out a way to do this.
I have a query thats finds one record (row) from a main table. The row is then displayed in a report. In this report I have a subreport. I want the subreport to have its record...

Hi,
This may not apply directly to this forum, but I didn't get a solution in the other forum and you guys and gals are usually right on.
I have a report that has a subreport in it. The report displays a
picture and one row of data. The subreport in the report will
display information from a...
Hi,
I just tried it. It comes up with a syntax error for the FROM statement.
Then I tried to just put
[Forms]![Test].[VARIABLE]
and it actually looks for a table called "[Forms]![Test].[VARIABLE]"
any suggestions?
