Just to complete this thread, Firebirdscambler managed to sort out all my issues with this, so a huge thanks to him.
UK devices are different, so we have different softwares, different maps, and slightly different RAD devices (only the badging and the firmware they run).
As far as I can tell...
I have used DESI to label original M7000 series phones in the past.
Does anyone know of similar software and/or templates to label M7000N series phones?
Yes, I can see what you are getting at, and I use VoIP adapters on yet another Norstar (as a pure VoIP line). But in this case, the VoIP adapters won't provide dialtone, as there is no internet connection, thus adapters cannot register with a SIP service?
But how, don't the VoIP adapters need to register with a SIP server somewhere?
Anything possible using extn 237 (I-ATA), if can't find a suitable way with analogue lines?
Ideally, line to just be able to dial an extn, and have this appear as a new line on the other system, and vice versa...
OK, here's the setup...
2 sites, each has a Compact Plus (CICS) with some analogue lines. The sites are linked by a high bandwidth (40Mb/s) IP link. Lets assume for now that neither site has Internet (not strictly true).
Currently, and calls between the sites are dialled out via BT, thus...
From memory, is there a delay setting on each line?
Could be the 2 aux lines are on a different technology exchange (BT mainly use GPT System X or Ericsson System Y)

I note all of the various docs you mention state Release 3, no mention of Release 4. Are there any/many differences between Rlse 3 and 4 on UK software...
Still looking out for the erad to fastrad conversion files, but I've sussed out my RAD not responding issue - Windows 7!
With XP, I can now get NRU to communicate with ERAD (have to go through debug procedure every time to reset ERAD password), but get an error about a missing AVB05ENG.MAP...
Thanks for posting back the results - its makes forums like this so much more useful, as people suffering same issue in a few months time will see what the resolution was.
Thanks for that, seems ERAD doesn't send junk to serial port once connected to the KSU.
F9** now prompts for password, so thats a start. Does anyone know default for a UK ERAD (its not the System ID in the UK)?
As to IRAD, impossible to tell on the UK versions, as its not in the version like...
