Setting up SCO box to be DHCP client
Need info on setting up nic on SCO 5.0.5 box to pull DHCP addy from router. I found a patch for 5.0.6 that is supposed to make a box available for checking to enable nic to pull ip from router. However, I cannot find any info for 5.0.5 to allow this. Any help would be greatly apprecited.- hurricanetech

Unable to ping static ip from remote end of VPN tunnel
I can ping the SCO box from any pc running IPSEC w/public IP. What I can't do is ping the only static ip behind the Linky w/any pc w/private ip. Wierd huh? Well, actually I can ping any DHCP addy behind the router just not the static setup on SCO box. The only common denominator I can figure out is that the 3 pc's w/public ip ex. 65.23.55.88 can ping and therefore telnet to the static ip of the SCO box. I have a Linky befvp41 router setup in doc's office. I have 3 transcriptionsist w/public ip's. Setup VPN on these 3 pc's and have no probs.
