I have a server with a large folder structure within the drive. All these folders have the allow inheritable permssions tick box ticked, but i need this turned off on all of the folders, if i do this manually it will take me all year. Does anyone know a way to do this automatically?.

Have you used browmon from the NT resource kit to make sure the PCs are pointing to the master browser?.
I get a problem where pcs sometimes point to a linux box here and thus they cant see the proper browse list.
Its recommended not to have any static entries. What if you decomission that server and then you have a static entry in wins for that i.p. address that some other pc may pick up after that server has gone.
