I've checked the bios and virus protection is disabled!
Whatever the problem is it's causing windows XP to do exactly the same thing!
So i know it's not a software problem and i've even took all un-necessary hardware out of my PC! ie.soundcard,scsi adapter etc...
I've even copied all the files...
That is one solution that clicked with me when i was typing the above reply!
Not had chance to check the bios yet but it'd be a good start!
I'm sure i enable the bios warning when it's being written to. Maybe that is the problem! Hmmmm...

Can a Motherboard stop Win2k from Installing?
Just that over the weekend i took out all my ISA/PCI hardware and ending with just one harddrive with 2 partitions and a cdrom.
So my system was My Motherboard,CPU,Memory,Harddisk,Graphics card and a cdrom and still had the problem of my Pc reseting...

I'm currently trying to install windows 2000 pro and windows 98se but am having problems getting the windows 2000 to install.
What keeps on happening is that just after windows 2000 has done the initial drivers installation the pc just keeps reseting.

Can i control the Content of Websites that Users can view?
I Understand it to be an Internet Explorer Configuration but cannot seem to find where i can configure the Content that my Viewers are allowed to See.
I'm having problems where if one user is downloading none of the other users can connect to the Internet!
Is there a way of controlling the bandwidth so that if one or two users are downloading at the same time it doesn't affect any of the other users?
Can i control using the Bandwidth throttler...
I need to retrieve the Emails from the Old exchange 2000 Server and Import them Into the New Exchange 2000 Server.

Or what files i need to copy Over so that My Users can Get their Old Emails from the Previous Server Back?
I've Looked in the Active Directory User Profile's and i don't see any Options where you can input a users Information as regards to receiving Emails.
The only options in the user profile as far as emails go is the exchange Email Addresses and i don't see anywhere where you can edit a users...
Does anybody know how i would connect users to an external mail server to retrieve emails without having to log onto all of the client PC's and manual Configuring each workstation/terminal?

Having Trouble Receiving Emails from Over the Internet.I am Sure it is something to do with with DNS A & MX Records.
The Problem is I am Unsure on What Settings To Give To The DNS A & MX Records.
My Internal Network Runs on Two NIC's.
One for the Internal Network and 1 to Link my Internal...
On a Previous Post You Pointed out that 1 NIC was Lighting up yet When you checked the other NIC it wasn't lighting up.Are you Sure its not just the Crossover Cable! Both NIC's Would be lit up if the Network Cable was Working Correctly.(Just a thought.)

I can Send Emails Over the Internet Using SMTP,Can also send and Receive Emails Within the Company Network just Can't seem to Receive Emails From outside of the Company!
