ok what do you mean by pinging it?, and also what do you mean by share a directory and naming it, and what ip address should i use, i tried mine, but it didnt work, thanks- Home100

what do you mean, do u want me to right click C;// and press ' share and securitey', that is what i did, but whenever i try to map a network drive an error message always comes up, what should i do???- Home100

Okay, well I connected my router to two computers, one on a wireless card (my laptop), and one on my Ethernet card, my desktop, I have a Inexq router, and i want to set up a network drive, or a filesharing thing, but only between these two computers,I tried to map a network drive, it didnt work...- Home100
