Exchange Server 2010 cannot be installed

Thanks Dave. It all seems to be working perfectly at the moment, and I certainly don't have any of the symptoms mentioned in the article, so I guess I can safely dismiss the issue.

Exchange Server 2010 cannot be installed

In the SBS Console, under "View installation issues", our server reports the error "Exchange Server 2010 cannot be installed". Since the server has been running for a year, and Exchange 2010 functions perfectly well (as far as I can tell), this error message is patently untrue. However, Dell...

Faxes not showing in Inbox on Windows 7 Fax and Scan client

Yes, I think I do! After rummaging around for ages, I found that if I add a User to the Windows SBS Fax Administrators group, then they can see the server inbox! Hope this helps somebody.

SVM not working - KX-TDA15 system

I had omitted to set the intercept for on no answer / on busy to the SVM card! But thanks for your suggestion.

SVM not working - KX-TDA15 system

Can anyone tell me why our SVM might not be working. We have a group mailbox on a floating extension, and I also have a personal mailbox for my extension. But neither of them appear to be active, even though they both have recorded messages on them. Do I need to do something else to activate...

Create answerphone (group mailbox) for KX-TDA 15

Does anyone know how to create a group mailbox to act as an answerphone for the whole phone system, as opposed to a message box for an individual extension?

    TDA15 Maintenance console

If my car needs some oil, I would expect to lift the bonnet, unscrew the cap and pour some in. If, on the other hand, my car requires a new clutch, I would take it to the garage. If all I want to do is to change an ARS carrier, I do not really think it should be necessary for me to call out a...

    TDA15 Maintenance console

Well, with the aid of the trial version of Ulitmate Zip cracker and my crossword skills, I have managed to work it out for myself! I do not want to breach any copyright by publishing the information here, but if anyone else is wanting this information, they could do worse than to try the same...

    TDA15 Maintenance console

Well, the system was installed by an authorised Panasonic dealer, so I don't know how much more "cert" it could be. I am guessing that the issue is, because our installer wants to keep us on a maintenance contract, it is not in his interests to divulge the information - and when I spoke to...

    TDA15 Maintenance console

Hi TimB48 Like you, I am having problems getting passwords for the software zip files. Have you managed to get them. We have a fully legitimate, six month old KX-TDA 15 installation, but I just cannot get hold of the latest maintenance console software - even Panasonic won't give them to me...

Cannot connect to mapped drive from Windows 98

Thanks for the various suggestions. In the end, I deleted the user profile (on the 98 laptop), then manually deleted the residual files on the hard disk, rebooted and recreated the user profile on the 98 machine - and it worked!!!

Cannot connect to mapped drive from Windows 98

Thanks again. As you say, I don't want to enable simplified sharing, as I am trying to keep our network secure. I will try what you suggest as soon as I get a chance - probably tomorrow evening. But I am puzzled by what you say. If I can connect using these details from any XP machine on our...

Cannot connect to mapped drive from Windows 98

Thanks for taking the time to respond. The trouble is that it is my daughter's laptop, so I do not actually know when the problem arose - she just kept on using it without telling me. She has an account set up on the XP Pro machine (although it does not appear on the login screen as we use it...

Cannot connect to mapped drive from Windows 98

I have a laptop (running Windows 98) that has recently started refusing to connect to mapped drives on our Windows XP server. When I try to connect, I get prompted to supply a password, and then I get the message The password is incorrect. Try again. I can connect to the same mapped drives...

    Acquiring network address

Thanks Jomama46, but I have already checked this. In the end, I switched the network card, and it is all working properly again. But I haven't yet tried putting the original card back - I haven't got the time to mess about with it at the moment. But presumably, this means it must be a Windows...
