Well! Is my face puce?
I spoke too soon! I just started getting the same error message 'Task '???@???.com - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service...
My original post is in reference to a problem with OUTLOOK 2003, NOT Outlook 2000. I can't get OUTLOOK 2003 to import/recognize my OUTLOOK 2000 PST files. I'm still waiting for my parents to get me the exact error message so I can forward it to y'all.
_____
However, in response to later...
I understand that. I'm NOT trying to do that.
I'm trying to open a PRE-OUTLOOK 2003 in OUTLOOK 2003 - in otherwords, UPGRADING - clearly stated in all my messages. I'm upgrading, not downgrading.
Actually, this is my parents PC. They haven't got me the exact error message yet. Hopefully...
Actually, I'm using Outlook 2000, and trying to import the contacts to Outlook 2003.
I haven't tried exporting to a new file yet - never thought of it. I'll try to export my existing Outlook to a new PST to see what happens.
Thanks
All the posts I see here about 2003's PST File say (I think) that 2000/XP can't read the 2003 PST file. I, however, am having the opposite problem;
When I copy my old PST file to the Office 2003 system, I get an error "Invalid file properties...." (I don't remember the exact wording, but...
It'd be great if I could password protect the download itself, but locking the file would work
Sorry I didn't respond sooner. For some reason, Tek-Tips can't contact my email anymore.
THanks
How can I password protect an individual file on my hard drive? I want to lock it so when I put a link to it on a web page, only those with the password can open it.
Thanks
I recently changed hosting companies for my domain, which should include the website itself as well as all the email accounts.
It appears that my system (using Outlook XP on XP Professional) insists on sending email to the old host, despite the fact that it's addressed to the...
Does anyone know how to disable this damn (excuse my french) window in Internet Exporer? No matter how many times I turn the stupid thing off, it comes back a minute or two later.
Arg!!!
Thanks
I've been working with them ever since the problem started. We've uninstalled, reinstalled, wiped, etc multiple times. Yesterday they did a root level reinstall.
Still get the errors.
I'm about to ask them to totally reinitialize my domain - as if I just started it - in the hopes that it's a...
The last two weeks I've been getting several errors while trying to publish an update to my site;
The two I can (sort of) remember are;
1. - Server Error: An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files... WebMasters see your system log for details.
2. - ??? parse error ??? - This one...
Hello,
Is anyone aware of a template/add-on that I can use to allow clients to schedule their own appointments online, and have that information synchronize between the website and my Outlook Calendar?
I'm starting a private massage practice, and I think it would be great if potential clients...
I'm trying to open www.mymerchantoffice.com with Netscape. I usually use IE, but am trying Netscape since it includes a built in pop-up suppressor.
However, while this site opens fine in IE, it will not open in Netscape 7.1. I tells me it's openning an encrypted page, and then give me a...
Thanks. I was formatting as numeric, not text. I'll try and test using "TEXT" format.
As for the printing, specifying 1 per page doesn't help - drat it. For whatever reason, MS decided to have everything that prints center. in an 8 1/2 page. The one I created was 8.5 x 3.67 (Page...
Does anyone know how to get Publisher 2002 to auto number gift certificates? I tried mail merge, but the stupid thing won't change the number on teh three it prints on the first. It insists on printing the same number on each certificate on a page.
In addition to that, if you start numbering...
