I've looked at the setting you mention, but its only on XP and I think 2003 - I'm not certain it will work as I need. I've no problem turning it on/off to see what happens.- HertB

I have several types of print server that I support. In all of them, we can occasionally see errors like the following. "There was an error found while printing the document remote downlevel document to <port>. do you want to retry or cancel the job" The document name and the port change...- HertB
