I have uninstalled the expired corporate edition of Syamntec AntiVirus from a clients machine that he bought used.
This machine was full of trojans & virus etc and had lots of problems which I have cleaned up.
My last one is to get the Symantec AntiVirus to stop trying to reinstall itself...
I can search for the Vista machine (Home Premium) and it shows up fine and I can get access to the public folders.
On the Vista machine, in the Network and Sharing Center I can see my Vista computer and my Linksys Internet router (BEFSR41)but I do not see my Linksys hub where all my computers...
Did you upgrade your video driver from the manufacturer when you upgraded to XP? I would think this would be a video problem and would see if the drivers are the problem.

If this is in Outlook, what do you use as the editor? If Word do you also use that as a word processor? Is it always running minimized on...
exceeeduus75; Acrobat reader does not read dat files which this is. This file has somehow been converted/corrupted as noted above.
etjric; I checked that but it only applies to files that are created by Outlook named winmail.dat.

Have the "user" open a new email. Click on 'options' and look under 'delivery options' for the 'save sent messages to:' box.
What does it say? If it says 'Inbox' that is your problems. Browse to select the 'Sent to'
Also this box must be check to work correctly. If it is not check, check it...
