I just got a quote for volume license on MS office standard for $365 per license.
Retail MS Home and Business which has the same products is $247 at CDW.
That's a difference of $118 per license for $4720 total savings. Can anyone tell me why I should go with VL other then...

Thanks pgliardo, I do a daily full backup on lto3 with backup exec. I do have MSSQL databases on the shares. Will the backup restore those to it's original state also or should i skip those and do a detach, copy, attach?

Pork - the issue with that is for example, I install the server side software and use AD to push client side software out. It's seem silly to tell the users to keep rebooting until the system installs the new client software.
