Disregard my original post. I cheated and called Avaya yesterday. They confirmed that this was a bug (or should I say "undocumented feature") in the current release.

That's a great question. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to that. My guess is that it would have to be blocked by the carrier, but don't hold me to that.

What I have done to stop sending individual extension numbers is changing the 'Per Station CPN - Send Calling Number' flag to 'N'. This is found on page 2 of the station info. Of course, I've had to do this on all extensions. Now, it just shows our main number when dialing out from those...
