I think I have the problem licked with OS 9 and not being able to print when I boot off from a CD, I had to setup the laserwriter before I burnt the CD and disabled backround printing aswell to trick it into not using a spool file.

Yeah I know it's a stupid idea and I'm a dinosaur, but I personaly think it would be nice to run these newer macOSX apps on a 8.6, or 9.X based system like on an early biege G3 without taking up the resources the OS-X takes...
What I mean is that they dont have any hard-drives and the only media they will allow is a bootable system CD to run the thing. I have heard from people talking about turning off the backround printing to eliminate the spool error, but havent tried that yet.

Well it's the same hardware, but the OS is different. So I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that has had the idea, or project? It would be more like an emu to run solaris X86 apps on a windows based machine.
