just a question on expanding this further is there a way of adding to the 46xxsetting.txt that will apply all the details into the phone for the FTP server, so that the phones will automatically backup the speeddials/featurebuttons and options.
I have heard that this can be done but can't find...
Here is an extract of an email with upgrading the IPSI FW 12 to 21 from Avaya.
Here is the Tier 4 word on this problem and when it's fixed.
From ;
This is an issue with false power supply alarms against 655A power units in a G650. The alarm starts after a firmware upgrade of the TN2312BP...
Also may need to think about your incomming call and the number of digits presented by the carrier. See P3 in ISDN trunk groups.
Also Change ISDN Public (1.3.2 and below) for outgoing called number CLI.

Has anyone had problems with Avaya's DECT connected to a Definity system. I have problems where intermittantly handsets are unable to make a call out. this is at a site that has enough base stations and channels available to make a call. All handsets are the WT9620 most base stations are 6Ch...
Yes I had a similar problem with a new site one IPSI was HW12 the other was HW11 seems the HW11 board was causing the problem. Presently I have the HW11 board removed and am sending it back to Avaya to be replaced with HW12.
Also I upgraded the IPSI's FW from 12 to 21 and had power supply and...
No go to ASA 2.1 this is the latest as 2.0.12 has a bug and you can't save some reports eg 'list bcms vdn xxxx 07:00 15:00' the software will try to use this command as the file name to save the file and you can't use column's in the file name.
Here you can use this
1.- From the Linux level
Login to the s8300
From the Linux CLi run the free -b command and check the total memory. An s8300A has 256MB of RAM and an s8300B has 512MB. So using the example below we can see that was an s8300A since its memory was 263340032
init@Node9_s8300>...
I have heard that as well if the phoes was working as a 4 wire it won't work as a 2 wire phone???
Does not really make sense though does it. If you have an old 4 wire card maybe you should try it as a 4 wire.
I think you will have to break it down to the second digit table, but still you won't be able to use 80 as a tac and 80XXX as a station. Why not change tac 80 to 81. The you will have no problems.
HELLLPPPP?
I escalated a fault to Avaya that went to ITAC with no resolution???? Working (BUG) as designed.
I have a Centralised Intuity Audix R5 with multiple sites all either S8700 or S8300's the problem I have is the Local Host Switch 1 is in Time Zone 27 Australia time and another PABX ie...
I think it is on the third page of the analog station form you need to use the hotline destination in conjunction with an abbreviated dial list 1,2 or 3 and lastly the dial code.
So set up the 7410 extn in a abbreviated list and should work fine.
Also it could have been a PSA code. Look in display features you may have a associate and dis-associate code for PSA. Then you can move phones as long as they are the same type by using this code. I beleive you also need to enter the station security code as well.
