Make sure that the variable does not have the same name as a field in an open table. Try using the "m." prefix to explicitly point out that you're refering to a memory variable instead of a table field. Also pay attention to the name you choose for memory variables. Simply choosing...- HammondL101

The other way round is much easier. Initiate your app using the windows task scheduler. You can even add and capture a special parameter for this purpose to determine if the app has been launched manually by the user or by the OS.- HammondL101

Speed Issues running Foxpro 2.6 on a PIV under NT4...
Make sure that the extended run-time version of Fox is being loaded. You can force this by running your programming in this way: FOXR +X yourprog.exe. On some machines FoxPro defaults to the wrong version.- HammondL101
