scandisk and defrag cease hard drive just quits spinning
Cross linked files may be the culprit of stopping of defrag and scandisk. I found that crosslinked files on my hard drive caused it even to cease completely until I rebooted the pc and started over. IN scandisk>advanced> option CROSSLINKED FILES it says delete/make copies/ignore. SELECT DELETE...- halifax545
