Okay, got it fixed. There were two FMP 6 updates at www.filemacer.com. Down loaded and installed both. Now it works.--Rene

Okay, have done the uninstall and reinstall and still nothing. Filemaker Pro 6 hangs on splash screen. Shows that TCP/IP was initialized and then there it sits doing nothing. Any advice? Thanks, Rene

Since installing XP SP2, I cannot get FileMaker Pro to open. It hangs on the Splash Screen. I have tried turning off the Firewall and still it does not open. I made it an exception to the program list and still nothing works. I have to shut down my computer and restart to get out of the hung...
