I have tried what you suggested but get #Error instead of my description. I dont seem to be able to concatenate fields in the report writer of access.
I have designed a table of contents report under Access 2000 but want to have a dotted line between the description and the page number. Is there an easy way for this line to shrink or grow depending on the length of the description?

I found that our performance issue was due to NAV auto-protect. As soon as I disabled auto-protect our FoxPro app worked perfectly and twice as fast as our old system. I tried to put in an exclusion so that NAV would not scan the foxpro app on startup but it didn't work.
