Well what I do is give the elements the property of "position: absolute" and shift them around manually in Dreamweaver. That is why margin-left is being used. Mind giving me a quick example with margin-left? Unfamiliar with that one. Thanks.
Oh ya, so, should I position the elements in...
Thanks, I know that inline ones are messy, and I plan on making it external it's just that when I go through the creative process I kind of jumble things together then sort out the mess for the final product.
Hey guys, I'm having some problems with absolute positioning. To get a quick idea of what's wrong, view my progress so far on a high resolution ( it looks normal the higher you go ), and then on 800 x 600:

You'll notice on the low RES, everything is set off to the...
Doh, I even knew that = / I just wasn't sure how to create it since it was QT-related. Cool, thanks a bunch man, that's definitely something that I coulda found if I was really thinking by looking on my own in Director help. I'm sorry to waste your time there Kenneth but thanks again for the...
Thanks Kenneth, but I'm a little unclear on how to do that. Can you perhaps provide steps? I may understand how to do it, but perhaps the terminology is just a bit confusing for me = / I'm still very much a novice in the Director area.
Also, by externally linking, are you referring to me...
Hey, I'm just curious, is it possible via a plug-in or some other method to use MIDIs in Director? The background music that I have, as a Midi, is approximately 50KB, while it's about 1 meg as an MP3, which is well over the size limit that I have specified for the program. I appreciate your...
Hey guys, how's it going? For college, I have to write a paper on why audio comes through staticy on Remote Desktop. For example, playing MP3s from my apartment computer on campus via a computer on the other side of campus in the labs. I am just wondering if anybody can provide some resources...
Oh no problem man. Well, that's what I meant, I literally redeveloped everything under 800 x 600, made sure it looked good in there, and them everything from there in the higher resolutions looks even more spiffier.
Now, I used divs for my positioning, and I tested it in Netscape, Mozilla and...
Phew, after probably 13 hours of adjusting every little pixel and alignment, as well as pumping out a spiffy logo and other miscellaneous things, I finally made the site so that people with 800 x 600 resolutions can look at it and not be immediately turned away. It turned out real well, and...
Hey bud, thanks for the reply. What do you mean by positioning? I use Mozilla as well to test my page ( which has Netscape's engine if I'm correct ), and everything looks basically the same as on IE. However, do you see something else? If so, please provide a screenshot and send it on over...
