    For the branch office SCN problem, check your VPN configs, it connects the second time as the tunnel has come up in the mean time. If you can change the time out on it dropping. To check this theory out run a ping -t over the VPN to keep it up then try dialing.

    Another trick I have used with Avaya IP Office and Draytek VPN's is to make sure that the VPN is both ways on both Drayteks and not set to master on one and slave on the other. You may also want to upgrade the firmware on each. Let me know if you have further problems
