2 T1s on internal WAN. How to share bandwidth?

I currently have a T1 between a 4500 and a 2514. Want to put an additional T1 in to increase bandwidth and provide redundancy. 2514 has an available serial interface, 4500 does not, will be getting additional router. my question is how do i share bandwidth across the 2 T1s? Thanks! GW

    2k clients slow to authenticate

truined: it is a DNS server, but I also did question my setup of it. I am familiar with NT 4 when it comes to DNS setup, but 2000 is a bit different and I wasnt confident I set it up correctly. Is there a reference (for NT 4 users moving to 2000) somewhere on the net I can look at to help me...

    2k clients slow to authenticate

I have a 2000 AD server and 2 2k clients. When they are part of the domain, it boots fine but it takes a LONG time to get to the login screen. Once there and logged in, it takes a LONG time again to get beyond the 'loading personal setting' box. When I say long I mean as in minutes. When the...

2000 client slow transfer from NT 4 server

NO ONE has ever ran into this problem? I would think it would be a common configuration error or something. Can anyone at least provide some insight as to where I might look? Thanks for any help! GW

2000 client slow transfer from NT 4 server

I recently installed 2000 on my box. We still run in an NT domain and when I transfer files from an NT 4 file server it is REALLY slow. When I transfer files to the same server, speeds are fine. I have enabled TCPIP over netbios and everything else is pretty basic.... Any ideas on what I...

NT tools work OK on 2000?

OK, cool. I can live without system policy editor on my box, as long as the other stuff runs OK. I plan on keeping the NT domain controller for the immediate future. Will be moving to a 2000 platform, but exact timeframe is unknown. Thanks! GW

NT tools work OK on 2000?

I am in an NT 4 domain environment and I want to upgrade to win2k pro. I have several tools, I use such as user manager, server manager, NT 4 resource kit, system policy editor, etc. on this machine. I DONT want user to be able to log into local machine with cached info

Well the policy I employ for these particular individuals is pretty strict. Just about every option is checked. When they used cached info, icons of applicatins that are installed that they could not previously use are now visible and the icons to applications I need them to use are gone...

I DONT want user to be able to log into local machine with cached info

If a user disconnects his ethernet cable and attempts to log in, of course they get the 'no domain controller can be contacted, you are being logged in with cached account info'. Which then lets them log in without policy restrictions. Is there a way to prevent them from logging in at all...

how can i allow regedit4 via login script without administrative priv?

Unfortunately, the previous administrator has deleted the power users group. But in general, yes it would be too much. I have tried looking throught the user rights in user manager to find something that I could use to allow a group or user registry editing permissions but I cant see one. Any...
