Yeah, the tech guy that traced the problem before me also said something about permissions. So I assume the problem will also go away if i make arcserve *not* backup those files (the killer 'wci' folder)

Is there anyway for Arcserve to mount a tape drive that belongs to some other server over the network, if that server (with the tape device) has no Arcserve installed on it whatsoever?
In other words, is it possible for Arcserve to use remotely shared tape drives?
