When I open my Windows...
just a thought...have you thought about converting to FAT32 instead of FAT. theres a program called partition magic that could convert it quick and may help with errors.
Its not program specific. It will do this is any app. I was refering to the Printer defaults as faras landscape or portrait. The defalut for the printer properties is portrait. If I go into the properties of any app and change it to landscape it will come out in portrait. But if I do it...
Im setting up a new print server which is an NT4 Server SP6. I have 5 different kinds of HP printers all set up and working. BUT, I have this HP 2000C printer which doesnt want to print landscape. It will do portrait all day.
If I go into the defaults and set it to Landscape than it will...
Need a logon script that will enable the user to have access to multiple Printers without having to install the drivers at each desktop. There has to be a way to do this.
Server is NT4
Workstations are NT 4 with pack 6
Back from Vacation,
Have you tried dialing to a cell phone through Phone dialer in Accessories yet? This will see if you are getting out through your modem or not. I fit does you need to give Juno a call.
If it doesnt, write back
So, your email works?
What program do you use to get this email?
What browser do you use to surf the internet?
Who exactly is your ISP, juno or netzero?
Yes, as long as the printer can be setup for that.
For example when setting up a printer in control panel you will get an option for lexmark tcp\ip port.........than it will install drivers and be able to print to it.
First go to machine one. Dial to your ISP. If it stays connected than goto machine two and connect with your browser. A browser doesnt "time-out" That is a communication error with modem and handshaking.
I think to make things real easy you may want to use PCAnywhere.
