Hello I am backing up my developer sql machine four times a day. So I need each backup_file_name to be with the right date and time stamp. example sql_db_200205130630.bak is there any way to display the date and time without scripting?- goly

HI Weez I was using backup and restore but then I had to choose selectively the tables to copy from one server to another so I started using the import option. would some one please refer me to the differences between attaching-importing-backuping database? when each metode is prefarable?- goly
