gurupot,
whenever you add a column to a datawindow object, you need to do set the edit style (you did), you need to set the tab order to some value > 0 and you need to set the update properties for that column.
try this and lets know.

when the "group" value is selected, you will know, what is the value of "group owner", then just set the value of "group owner" for the "group owner" column.

I think you can achieve it by writing triggers for after delete or before delete records in the parent table.
please let me know if it does not work for you
The piece of code you specified is of no use. Rather I tried with
dw_1.SaveAs("c:\s.xls", HTMLTABLE! TRUE) and it works fine and I get the columns as I expected, but if any row values contain only numbers, then it is saved as trimmed numbers, like 00033 (string) is saved as 33...
In the DataWindow design, select Rows and then Update properties. If Allow Updates is not checked you may not be able to update the table. Have you also tried to save the changes in database after you delete.
If the column has 0 as tab order, then you will not be able to edit anything in that...
I created a crosstab report and it worked fine, but when I tried to save it as an Excel file, the headings (which is a column value), are not stored as I see in the datawindow output. In the excel file, I could see only a_1, a_2, a_3 as column headings instead of data.
Please help!

What we will do is take a backup of 3.0 pbls for use if migration fails.
Open PB 80. Select the application object from your 3.0 pbls. PB...

If you are using PB 5.0 or less then you need to include the datawindow in the PBR file and should use the PBR when creating the EXE. If the PB version is 6.5 or 7, then the datawindow names are not required in the PBR file.

By default when you install the Personnel Oracle, it will start running as a service in your Win2k or WinNT. Check up the service name it will be either ORCL (it is also the SID for your (ONLY ONE) oracle database).
Or you may give try with LOCAL as the host string.
